Full terms and conditions of the Aniva Future Pacific Nursing Leaders ("Aniva Future Leaders") programme:

1. You must be enrolled as a full or part-time student in either the Bachelor of Nursing Pacific, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing Maori, Bachelor of Health Sciences Nursing, Diploma of Enrolled Nursing, Master of Nursing Science (Pre-Registration) or Master of Nursing Practice (Pre-Registration) programme at either the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), one of the Te Pukenga subsidiaries of Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT), Unitec Institute of Technology (Unitec), Whitireia Polytechnic (Whitireia), Wintec Institute of Technology (Wintec), or the University of Waikato (UoW).

2. You must be either a New Zealand citizen, including from Tokelau, the Cook Islands and Niue, New Zealand permanent resident, New Zealand resident visa holder, Australian permanent resident or an Australian resident residing in New Zealand.

3. You must be of indigenous Pacific Island descent from any of the following islands: American Samoa, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia (Tahiti), Hawaii, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Rapanui (Easter Island), Rotuma, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna.

4. Aniva Future Leaders needs to collect and verify information about you as part of administering this programme of support for you. We recognise that we need to use any information you provide to us responsibly and treat it with care and respect. Our Privacy Policy sets how we use your personal information. We will use your personal information to:

   1. correspond with you;

   2. inform you about opportunities to get support as part of Aniva Future Leaders;

   3. verify the information you provide with any third party specified i.e. tertiary education institution or other funding provider;

   4. understand your progress in your studies so we can tailor our support to you; and

   5. conduct benchmarking, analyses, quality assurance and planning in respect of the products and services we offer and to obtain your feedback.

5. The information you provide will be used to assess your eligibility for support. If any of the information you provide is misleading or inaccurate and leads to disqualification of your application, you may be liable to repay any funds issued to you or any payments made on your behalf.

6. The funding available through Aniva Futures Leaders is limited. Each application will be assessed on an individual basis giving priority to those in the greatest need, and funding is not guaranteed for every category of support available.

7. We will notify you in writing of the outcome of your application. 

8. If your application is approved, you will be registered with the Aniva Future Leaders programme and notified of the funding support available to you.

9. Where applicable, funding will be used to pay for costs via direct payment to the appropriate supplier on your behalf.

10. We will need your cooperation to finalise the payment process and to help you access this support. By submitting this application you agree to work with us to do so.

11. A condition of the funding, if accepted is that you consent for information about your academic progress to be shared by your tertiary education institution with Aniva Future Leaders.

12. If at any time you no longer wish to receive funding support or participate in the Aniva Future Leaders programme, you may withdraw from the programme by email to: info@pacificperspectives.co.nz
